National Poetry Month: Let's Read Flamingos on the Roof!

Watch from Now to June 30th!

As we celebrate National Poetry month, join BDL's John Rucker for a reading of Calef Brown's Flamingos on the Roof. Publisher Houghton Mifflin has granted permission to read aloud this delightful children's book, along with pictures of the paintings that go along with the stories. The only catch is that the publisher requires that the reading must be private for BDL patrons only.

Just enter your library card number below, and you can watch the story time any time, right now though June 30.

Thanks to publisher Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Books and Media for allowing BDL to present this to our patrons during this difficult time. Flamingos on the Roof may be found at book stores everywhere, and on the library's shelves once we can reopen.

And many thanks to Little Jack Melody and His Young Turks, from Denton, Texas, for letting us use selections from their catalog as accompaniment to this reading! You can find their music on Spotify, Amazon, the iTunes store or at http://littlejackmelody.com. Follow them on Twitter.
