March is Reading Month B-I-N-G-O


March is Reading Month, and this year at the Branch District Library Kids' Place we are having some BINGO fun.  Registration in person begins March 3rd on the Kids' Place floor of the Coldwater branch.  Get your age-appropriate Bingo sheet and rules, and get going on some Bingos.  Contest runs through March 31st.  Call 517 278 2341 ext 103 or 104 for more information.  Let's have some reading fun!

Japanese Calligraphy


Saturday, March 24 at 12:00pm

Join Haiyato Machido, who is visiting the US from Tokyo, Japan, for a hands-on introduction to the art of calligraphy. All materials will be furnished. As an added treat, Japanese snacks will be provided after the class.

Teen Writing Contest 2018


Entries accepted March 1st through 30th, 2018!

Branch District Library proudly presents the first annual Teen Writing Contest! This contest is open to all writers ages 13 to 18. Entrants will be competing in three categories: short story, flash fiction, and poetry. Submissions may belong to any genre you can dream up.

One grand prize of a $50 Amazon Gift Card will be awarded in each category! The contest will be judged by local volunteers.

Traveling Tales: Argentina
