In Memoriam: Phyllis Rosenberg

District

It is with sadness that we share news of the passing of our friend and colleague, Phyllis Rosenberg. Phyllis worked for the Branch County library, and was a former Director of the Coldwater Public Library. She led the effort to renovate and restore the Coldwater Library building in the late 1970s and presided over the creation of the Branch District Library in 1991. She retired from the library in 1995 and remained an active volunteer in the community.

A complete obituary may be read at http://dutcherfh.com/book-of-memories/2063399/Rosenberg-Phyllis/obituary....

A visitation will be held at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater on Saturday, February 21, from 12:15 to 2:15, with a service to follow.

March is soon approaching, and so are the book discussions for One Second After, by William Forstchen.

It is a story about how one man struggles to save his family and his small North Carolina town after America loses a war that wipes out all electricty in the country, sending America back to the Dark Ages.  Without communication, transportation or power, how will they survive?

Check our Calendar of Events for the date and time of the book discussion at your local library branch.
