The Media Center at the Bronson Branch Library celebrates its second year of being open to the public. Many of the fund raising events we do help to make extra payments on the loan we still have for this beautiful addition to our historic library. Yesterday at our monthly meeting we voted to pay another $7,000 on the loan, which will bring the loan down to less than $67,000. Thank you to everyone who supports our group and the library by attending these events and helping us as we work to finish paying for the Media Center.

It is with sadness that we share news of the passing of our friend and colleague, Phyllis Rosenberg. Phyllis worked for the Branch County library, and was a former Director of the Coldwater Public Library. She led the effort to renovate and restore the Coldwater Library building in the late 1970s and presided over the creation of the Branch District Library in 1991. She retired from the library in 1995 and remained an active volunteer in the community.

A complete obituary may be read at http://dutcherfh.com/book-of-memories/2063399/Rosenberg-Phyllis/obituary....
