Evergreen in Context

Branch:
District

We were excited to be the first library in Michigan to switch to the Evergreen library system.  Besides significant cost savings in this troubled financial time, the tax dollars we are spending on Evergreen are all staying in the state of Michigan.

MI Evergreen had a few rough spots at the start, but we're smoothing them out and several hundred thousand library patrons across Michigan are now using the new system and benefiting from it. And as an open-source product, we will be able to continually refine Evergreen to best fit the needs of our library and our patrons.

Announcing our Local History Digital Archive

Branch:
District

We are happy to announce our new digital archive for Branch County History.  We have started off by digitizing a collection of old audio cassette recordings of interviews conducted by the Branch County Historical Society.  Over time, we'll be digitizing documents and images related to our local history.  These items will come from collections at our branches in Coldwater, Bronson, Quincy, and Union Twp.  This will be an ongoing project, and special thanks to Nola Baker for helping to make this project happen.

You can view the digital archive here:
