The Bronson Library is in a vibrant community and offers a variety of programs for all ages. We also have an active Friends Group and and are in the middle of a campaign to add bathrooms and an elevator to this historic building.

SOPA and PIPA Internet Blackouts

Wikipedia, reddit, Craiglist, and many others are blacking out their sites today, Wednesday January 18, 2012, in protest of the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and Protect IP Act (PIPA), and even more sites are staying open but protesting. SOPA AND PIPA are two bills in the United States legislature designed to stop online piracy and copyright infringement that protestors believe would fundamentally alter the Internet, placing far too much power in the hands of content owners and the government at the expense of everyday users.

Job Posting: Library Director

The Branch District Library, headquartered in Coldwater, Michigan, seeks a new Director for a six-branch library system, serving the entire county. The Director will manage a staff of 19 FTE and $1,000,000 budget to provide outstanding library service and to set the course for future growth and development. BDL serves a population of 47,000 and is governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees.
