As mentioned previously, the library needs Branch County residents who are willing to serve on our Board of Trustees. Our library, which is a unit of local government under Michigan law, is governed by a 7-member Board of Trustees who oversee the financial and policy aspects of the library. Effective January 1, we will be without 2 Board members. At least 4 Board members must be present to vote on issues, so having only 5 Trustees on the Board has the potential to severely limit the Board's decision-making ability.

We’ll be taking a short train ride from the Little River Railroad Depot at 29 West Park Avenue in Coldwater, and we’d love for you to join us! While you’re waiting to board, you can have a visit with Santa and explore the train depot.
