One Book, One County - 2007
The book for this year's One Book, One County series is How the Garcia Girls Lost Their Accent, by Julia Alvarez. This is a book about 4 sisters from the Dominican Republic who emigrated to the United States.
Some of the themes in this book that we'll explore are food, family relationships, learning English, and integration into American culture.

We'll be having discussion groups at all of the library branches:
- Algansee: March 14th (6:00-7:00)
- Bronson: March 7th and 21st (6:00-7:00)
- Coldwater: March 6th and 20th (6:30-8:00)
- Quincy: March 10th and 24th (10:00-12:00)
- Sherwood: March 22nd (6:00-7:00)
- Union: March 12th and 26th (11:00-12:00)
The final discussion event will be on March 29th at Bronson branch, 5:30 pm. This will be after normal library hours, and there will be authentic Dominican food.
