The Library Corner for 04/24/08
Leo Lehman's balloon was found in Rochester Hills.
Cristy wrote: I found your card in a soccer field in Rochester Hills, Michigan. It was on Monday April 14. Wow did your balloon travel far and fast! I have a black Labrador and we like to walk to the soccer field because then I can take him off the leash and he can run around. As we were leaving I walked by your balloon, it had popped and only had a small piece of the orange balloon attached. I almost walked away, but then I noticed the laminated card and picked it up.
I am a Kindergarten teacher. For the month of March we celebrated reading by meeting with our sixth grade book buddies. We also had a reading minute competition to see what class could read the most. Keep reading and enjoy the school year.
