The Branch District Library provides space for library materials, services and programs sponsored by the library or closely associated non-profit cooperating organizations.

Because meeting room space is limited and in heavy demand, it is not possible to accommodate requests for space for commercial interests such as insurance agents, for-profit tutors, attorneys or salespeople to meet with clients. Furthermore, use of public service areas by non-profit groups or clubs cannot be granted in such a heavily used facility.

This policy will be explained to persons requesting meeting room space in advance. Persons using the building for the above specified purpses which cannot be accommodated and who have not made advance inquiry will be discretely and tactfully informed of the policy and asked to cease in a reasonable period of time.
