Here at the library, we don't just have programs for children. Throughout the year we try to schdule interesting classes, talks, and programs for adults, too.
Below is a listing of the offerings coming up. See our calendar for more information about what's going on at the library.

Computer classes are here at the library again! Some classes will be hands-on. For the hands-on classes, space is limited and registration is required, share a computer. You may call two weeks prior to each class to sign first-serve basis. All classes are free and open to all library patrons.

Software
You just spent lots of money on your computer, but to
actually use it you need to spend more on
software…or do you? In this hands-on class we'll
discuss—and you'll use—some of the best software out
there for your Windows PC, and it won't cost you a
penny. We'll cover productivity, creativity, gaming,
utilities, and more. 10 seats available.
Upgrading and Buying
Guide
With Microsoft's new operating
system—Vista—due out
soon, now is the time to start thinking about upgrading
or buying a new computer. We'll give you the overview of
Vista, discuss whether upgrading is right for you, and
talk about hardware options and prices. No registration
required.
Internet Survival
Guide
It can be a jungle out there in the virtual world, so
let us help you to stay on the safe path. We'll talk
about Internet scams and how to avoid them, privacy and
legal issues online, and what to do to avoid viruses,
trojans, and worms. 10 seats available.
Be Creative with your
Computer
Just in time for the holidays, learn how to use your
computer or the computers at the library to make the
perfect gift for your loved one. We'll talk about what
you can do with Apple's iLife suite, and the services
that are available online for you to make calendars,
photo books, coffee mugs, and even full-length books
with on-demand publishing services. No registration
required.
Scanning and Retouching Your
Photos
We'll help you learn the important issues involved with
scanning your photographs to computer files. We'll
discuss equipment, software, scanning techniques, and
long-term storage, and you'll get to practice scanning
and fixing up pictures. 10 seats available.
